This Microdermabrasion + Chemical Peel treatment includes a double cleanse, a skin analysis, microdermabrasion, light extractions (If needed) 2-6 layers of a customized chemical peel, massage on neck/shoulders/arms, mask, toner, serum, moisturizer, and SPF 50. Microdermabrasion is the process of mechanically removing dead cells from the skins surface and is a great way to exfoliate. It helps treat the appearance of large pores, acne, and hyperpigmentation while smoothing the skin’s surface and removing impurities. While this treatment is great for use alone, combining it with another professional procedure such as a chemical peel can produce even better long lasting results. Performing microdermabrasion before a chemical peel procedure will remove the top layer of dead skin cells, allowing the chemical peel to penetrate more evenly and effectively. By doing so, clients can experience better results revealing the skin of their dreams. Contraindications: Microdermabrasion- Active bacterial, viral, or fungal infection, tendency to keloid formation, facial dermatitis, bleeding disorders, open sores, warts, sunburn, recent laser surgery, use of Accutane, recent chemical peel, recent cosmetic surgery, or major operation within the last two years. Chemical Peel- Pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent sun exposure, sunburn, tanning bed use, active skin infections or open wounds, allergies to peel ingredients, current use of certain medications, recent cosmetic surgery, laser resurfacing, deep or medium depth chemical peels, or dermabrasion, history of keloid scarring, uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune disorders, skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis.
